It has been a year since we moved into the camper. I know we all look at life differently now.
It will be so odd when we:
Don’t have to get a flashlight to use the potty outside at night.
Have more than 1 square foot of counter space.
Get a shower with warm water longer than 80 seconds.
Have an oven bigger than my easy bake size.
Don’t need to haul 25 loads of laundry every week to the laundromat.
Have privacy from our kids.
The kids get privacy from us.
Have a dishwasher again.
Have a closet again.
Sometimes you don’t realize what simple luxuries do for us until we don’t have them.
Living this way without kids would be an adventure. With the kids, it poses challenges. Such as…potty training.
I hope someday we sit down together, and laugh with each other about these days!!!
